BTB Chapters

Canada Beyond The Blue is proud to have Chapters in Calgary, York, Toronto, Vancouver, Durham, Peel, OPP and Niagara.

Each BTB Chapter is tasked with coordinating resources that aid in offering education, training & practical tools to law enforcement families and fostering a community of support for the enrichment of family life.

Mental health resources and support systems for families are often not recognized by the existing benefit programs of police services, nor are there proactive programs that empowered families to identify signs of OSI, PTSD and other on the job stressors that can plague our community.

While we strive to collaborate with the police service in a given location, BTB Chapters must remain independently operated in order to best serve our community. A BTB Chapter can fill the gap in family support without burdening the service with this task.

Canada BTB and its Chapters are run by volunteers who are family members of law enforcement officers/civilian members and this vested interest drives their passion and dedication. Chapter funding comes largely from donations, sponsorships, fundraising initiatives as well as the police service and member's association in each location. Each chapter is an independent organization that sets its own leadership, budget, fundraising goals, etc. yet has all the benefits of being linked to a nationwide organization that offers a proven model and infrastructure, mentorship, support, and more.
