Calgary Beyond the Blue supports a strong culture of support, collaboration, respect, and ethics. It helps ensure that what we say, what we do and how we act is always in line with our values and in the best interest of our members.

 

It is expected that all members will adhere to the following conduct:

 

  • Acting with fairness, honesty, integrity, and openness. 

  • Respecting the opinions of others.

  • Treating all with equality and dignity without regard to gender, race, colour, creed, ancestry, place of origin, political beliefs, religion, marital status, disability, age, or sexual orientation.

  • Striving to provide a positive and valued experience for all members. 

  • Confidentially maintain personal information of other members and act in a respectful manner towards them (for example not sharing personal information you learn at: peer support meetings, all social media platforms, in-person and online events).

  • Calgary Beyond The Blue has a zero tolerance policy with respect to personal or sexual harassment, bullying or cyber-bullying, gossip or rumour spreading. Any of these infractions in any form is strictly prohibited and may be grounds for removal as a member from Calgary Beyond The Blue.

  • Complying with all applicable laws and statutes within the Province of Alberta.
